- For an extra touch, you can sprinkle more Hot Honey Sprinkles on top before baking.
- Experiment with different types of apples for varied flavor profiles.
- Experiment with Mountain Dew instead of Cream Soda.
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F
Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, add 3 tbsp Apple Butter, Butter Infused Olive Oil, Cinnamon Pear Aged Dark Balsamic, and Hot Honey Sprinkles. Mix ingredients and add the apples until coated. Let marinate while moving to next step.
Prepare the Crescent Rolls:
Open the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles as per the package instructions.
Fill the Dumplings:
Spread Apple Butter evenly over each triangle. Add the thinly sliced marinated apples, from step one, to each triangle. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides as you roll to enclose the filling.
Place the filled dumplings, seam side down, into a 9x13 pan coated with Butter Infused Olive Oil. Pour ¾ can of cream soda and the remaining marinade around the edges of the pan.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Serve with ice cream, and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top. Allow to cool slightly before serving. *Optional: dust with cinnamon and or powdered sugar for added sweetness.
