SABA, a timeless elixir harking back to the Roman Empire, now meticulously crafted by the Malpighi family in the spirit of Modenese tradition. This exquisite potion, resembling a luscious syrup or a tantalizing dressing, is born from the purest, slow-cooked grape must, nurtured for a full 72 hours. It stands as a testament to the ancient artistry of flavor. Without the need for any added sugar.
Its versatility extends to mixology, where SABA shines as a secret weapon in crafting exceptional cocktails.
For those embracing an active lifestyle, SABA proves to be an exceptional ally. Athletes can unlock its full potential by simply combining three tablespoons of this liquid gold in a glass, then adding sparkling water and ice. It's the natural fuel that champions choose, offering both taste and nourishment in every sip.
SABA, the ancient drink from the Roman Empire, now reborn in the hart of Modena.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Aged Balsamic Vinegar from The Oil Tree
One of the most important parts of staying well inside and out, for me, has been the Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Which I’ve been pairing (more regularly) with any of the all natural Aged Balsamic Vinegars. Tablespoons early in the day and at bedtime have been the most effective treatment for menstrual cramps, and I even stopped my prescription medication over a year ago after discovering this natural option. I believe it’s also improved my hair health. I love the evoo for skin care! I could write a lot more. In addition to enjoying the evoo for medicinal purposes, it completely transforms anything I pair it on the topic of food. I use the aged balsamics to sweeten my yogurt (now I can buy the unsweetened), in substitute of butter I pour evoo in a jar and put it in the fridge (to solidly) and spread it on my toast with my favorite jam from the store, American Spoon. Salads couldn’t be easier! The greens with the evoo and aged balsamic vinegars, is all that is needed for a fresh, delicious, nutrient dense meal or snack. Anything added, like fruit and cheese is bonus. Recently started ordering micro greens from Rooted Farms in Oklahoma that I pick up at The Oil Tree and enjoy with the evoo and balsamic vinegar. Some of my other favorites are the Fused Citrus Olive Oils, the Garlic Infused, Sesame and Truffle Olive Oils. My daughters asked me to make them “miracle chicken” with the evoo and espresso aged dark balsamic, specifying a request for extra “sauce,” which is the products just mentioned. I’ve been shopping at The Oil Tree for over a decade, and it was then I knew the products were better than good! But, over the last year I’ve gained an understanding about why. The owner and her family’s WHY-which you can read about on the website, and It’s all true! Their commitment to providing quality uncorrupted extra virgin olive oil and aged balsamic vinegars, and passion for small batch producing is evident through their choices. Strongly recommend trying it out for yourself—that’s what I did. I’m so very thankful for the life giving impact of this store!
