Directions

Step 1

Marinade (optional): Place 2 filets in ziplock bag. Add ¼ cup Black Pepper Infused Olive Oil, ½ cup Dark Chocolate Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar, and 2 tbsp Steak Seasoning. Let marinade for 2-6 hours.

Step 2

Reduction: In a small saucepan, add ½ cup Dark Chocolate Aged Dark Balsamic Vinegar and bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until reduced by almost half. 

Step 3

Preheat oven to 425°F

Step 4

Prime filets with remaining Black Pepper Infused Olive Oil and coat evenly with remaining Steak Seasoning.

Step 5

In a heavy pan (cast iron if possible), Pan sear filets until browned on one side, about 3 minutes. 

Step 6

Turn steaks over and transfer skillet to oven. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
 

Step 7

Remove filets from oven and transfer to platter. Let rest 5 minutes. Drizzle reduction over filets and enjoy.
