Pork Steaks with Thyme and Red Apple

Step 1

For the marinade: using a large ziplock bag or container of your choice, add thyme olive oil, red apple balsamic, shallot, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix to combine. 

Step 2

Add the pork steaks to marinade and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours. For best results marinate overnight.

Step 3

Remove the pork steaks from marinade and bring to room temperature. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. 

Step 4

Place the pork steaks on a baking sheet and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 20 minutes.

Step 5

Remove from oven and flip the pork steaks over. Turn the oven to broil and place back in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes. 

Step 6

Once again, remove the pork steaks from the oven and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
