For the Orzo Pasta

Directions

Step 1: Cook the Orzo

  • In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water or chicken broth to a boil. Add a pinch of salt.
  • Stir in the orzo pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the Herbs de Provence Infused Olive Oil.
  • Once hot, add the chicken breasts and sear for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare Creamy Marinara

  • In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the jar of Creamy Marinara Sauce.
  • Stir in Rosé Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic Maple Pepper. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Step 4: Combine

  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  • Cover and let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes until the cheese melts and the chicken is heated through.

Step 5: Serve

  • Plate the orzo pasta, and top it with the creamy marinara chicken.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
